Having recently done this, I feel very confident in saying that moving sucks. Yes, a new house is exciting and we are certainly very grateful for our new digs, but the actual process of picking up, packing up and transporting everything you own is a lot of work. I’m sure I’m not the only one who was literally throwing things in boxes at the last minute just to get it done.
In the midst of the frenzy though, I did remember to keep everything we would need on the first day in our new house close by for when we moved in. The last thing anyone wants to do on moving day is try to remember where the hell the TP was packed, am I right? Here’s the list of everything you need to keep handy on moving day:
Keeping these things in easy reach made sure that we had all of the very basic necessities available to us from the moment we walked into the new house. It helped us and hopefully it helps you too!
